SMELLS like Christmas!

We took a quick trip south for the weekend and got started a little early on Christmas.
Grandmommy and Pops's let Hunter open a present early that would be staying at their house for him to play with during his visits.  This was his first time, since his birthday 6 months ago, to rip open a package - so he was very excited!
Tractors, trailers, cows, horses - this present had it all!  Hunter was in Heaven!!
Granny might have enjoyed it as much as Hunter-man :)
Mom got us our matching Christmas Pjs
Hunter wanted to be in the picture too ;)
How sweet is this face - Seriously!!??
Off to Booneville for the Hick's Family Shin-dig
Merry Christmas Kyle!! Granny & Papaw surprised him with a truck!  Ho Ho Ho!
Guess he was a really good boy this year  :)
Rick & Lesia couldn't find a a tree big enough . . . HA!
ahhh - the true smell of Christmas
Glad we ran into you at Wal-Mart Amy!!  LOL  Detailed planning and communication has never been a strong suite for this family . . . when it's as big as ours, there is more room for slip-ups
Hunter loves all of his cousins, but may be a little partial to "Dracie"
Of course there was TONS of DELICIOUS food!  Pot luck of course, along with Rick's famous Hot Wings!
I made another family favorite - White Chocolate Popcorn Stuff
There was some real "dirty-ness" during our annual game of Dirty Santa!
James Brown made his appearance for the 2nd year in a row  . . .
Hallie represented her crew for the evening while Dakota pushed carts, Levi & Jessica were on the road to Louisiana and Lacy worked late . . . Sure missed you guys!
Me - "Did you eat a cookie buddy?"
Hunter - "No mam, Mommy."
He may not be honest but at least he's polite  :)
As we left the party that night, Hunter, sitting in the the backseat in his carseat quietly and simply stated, "I had fun . . ."
What a way to sum up the night.  We all had fun - I love my family.
And to the two that made all this happen . . .
Happy 58 Years Granny & Papaw
We love you so much and appreciate you both so very much

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,  "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
Luke 2:9-14
